1982 was Paul Bryant's last year as coach.
Including that year, LSU's record against Alabama since then is 13-13-1. And that includes hands-down the worst decade of LSU football, the 1990s. Easy to say that the only reaso that Bama has been able to hold their own against LSU these last 27 years is that LSU was so very bad during the 1990s.
Oh yeah, in that same time span, LSU has won FIVE SEC Championships. Six if you could count 1984. Alabama: THREE (3).

I've seen plenty of LSU posters complain on this site and the Tiger rant. They complain because Bama gets to play UT every year while they have to play UF.

JUst a little advice to over zealous bamna fans,
before talking smack try winning the SECCG first and while your at it try winning one for the Gipper against that Mountain West juggeraut the Utah Utes. Thanks for embarassing the SEC as a whole you knuckleheads....
