I don't think MSU's baserunning really cost them anything. Both outs at third were ground balls that would have been outs at first anyway.

It didn't because Renfroe ended up in scoring position on the first one anyways, then the 2nd one would have been an out at first anyways then a Rea strikeout.
Still dumb though because it could cost us runs if we keep doing it.

Yes after the inning is over you could say that there was 1 out when he made the mistake he stays in 2nd then a base hit scores another run, instead he got thrown out at 3rd...not that hard..
