Not SEC related, but dayum. UCF had game winning FG blocked, kicker caught it in air after block, ran for a few yards and had his helmet ripped off when tackled.
Female ref throws flag for ripping off helmet on defender aka facemask. Cut to commercial, refs pick up flag, and added 10 second run off for kicker helmet coming off , UCF had zero TO left to prevent it.
2 seconds left on clock. Going for the win, refs pick up flag, and run out clock to give BYU a second chance in OT.
Rigged fricking game

The kicker did it to himself by not wearing his chinstrap right.
They picked up the flag because of that.

absolutely crazy. Announcers are just happy for "free football" in OT

You cost your team because you want to wear your chinstrap like a 3yo

I am always one who leans toward rigging.
That legit felt like gross incompetence.

Still protecting BYU?

That roughing the UCF kicker call was one of the weakest things I’ve ever seen.

Not reviewable

UCF put themselves in that situation. Horrible play calling down on the 1yd line and even worse when they still had a chance for a FG at the end.
