26, 50k is good for 26. I made slightly more at that age, but the economy was better and I lived in DFW.
My commute here is 10 minutes. I live on a shady quiet street and I get to go to all the Razorback games I care to.
It would definitely be hard to leave at this point.

The Research & Technology Park is mainly focused on start-ups spun off by the University. I think they have around 200,000 sq ft of space already, most of it in use. Lots of engineering-based jobs, nano-tech, etc.
Yeah, Fayetteville was in the running for the Hewlett Packard facility that eventually went to Conway. I know the last mayor was big on attracting that kind of investment, although I have my doubts about the current administration.

I would be making more if I worked for a different company. I work for the largest third party calibration service in the country, but the pay is far below smaller companies. The benefits are extremely good, best I have seen, and my resume is stacked due to it being a general purpose lab. I calibrate almost everything, so my skillset is very valuable in this industry, but I am tired of it already. I said when I left the military that I wasn't going to do it anymore, but that plan took a shite with the economy.

I'm working on it.
I would like to see NWA attract businesses like HP and other technology based companies. It brings growth, but the good kind of growth.

I just made some Rotel/Velveeta.
Man, since I went all whole foods hippie, I can't eat anything that I used to.
It tasted like prcessed oil-based garbage.
I still ate a good sized bowl of it, though. I needed something to go on my Frontera organice Lime & Sea Salt chips, but I have no idea how you fat fricks stomach all that garbage.
You will not poop until June.
Really wish we had a natural foods store in Bentonville, or even a good grocery store. The selection is very limited.

There is one in Rogers. SE corner of 71B and Walnut. Just go east on Walnut. Go through the light on 71B and it's on the right. Name of it is Cook's.

I know Cook's, it's a pain in the arse to go all the way up Walnut to get there. They close early and are closed on Sundays. I prefer the coop in the Nam.
I would be fine with a Whole Foods too.
