It would help if the greatest receiving corp in the universe could catch the ball and would work a little bit to get open.

I think you're right, but I'm not sure UT will be patient enough to let it play out. I think If you guys do end up firing him the next hire will be monumental. Literally, a bad or even marginal hire would set you back at minimum a decade. You better have a home run hire waiting in the wings before pulling the trigger on Dooley. It would be better to give him another year even if painful.
