What the hell is going on out here? Sustained 30-45 mph gusts with the occasional 60 mph spike. I hear lots of sirens close to the strip and transformers have been blowing every few minutes.

Wind is picking up in Birmingham also, this is some crazy stuff. Came out of nowhere!

lol nah I was there during saban--74mph wind gusts are crazy man. I never saw shite like that...

Last time I saw wind like this it was a hurricane (not discounting the tornado--that's more of a concentration of wind).
THIS kind of wind is rare. Hard to recall anything else like it and I've been here over 20 years.
