That has to be one of the dumbest comments on the subject ever. So I guess Dallas could have just cruised through the Western Conference over San Antonio, the Lakers, and the Suns with no coaching....ok

Same thing could have been said about Anthony Grant if we never went after him and we only now to pursue him... On paper he is the better COLLEGE coach... We all see how that turned out..
I'm gonna go on record and say that once Avery gets his recruits and his system in place, Bama basketball will be MUCH better then it has been in quite some time... I think he could be as good as we were back in the Wimp Sanderson days..

That's just not true. The fan base was just as fired up about getting Grant as we are about AJ.
