What happened to Florida? Did they have a bunch of injuries or just in a major slump?

A little of both. Lots of pitching on the shelf, and we aren't a great hitting team. Good, but not great. We are also playing teams that I feel will end up in Omaha, and have really good offenses.

But last night was just a choke. We had a good pitcher on the mound, who mowed them down in the 8th and then couldn't find the strike zone in the 9th after we took the lead. And he was pitching against the 7, 8, and 9 hitters.

I still think this is a good team and may make the post season if we can get healthy and get our mojo back. I really think we are a top 10-15 type team. But when you experience losses like this, it may screw you up for an extended period of time. Who knows. But if we can't get back on the winning track vs Ole Miss this weekend, we might be in too big of a hole to climb out of regardless.

Iredale sat til the last couple of innings with 1 at bat. Diggs started over Maxwell and Helfrick didn’t play.
