This is alarming and sad. As much of a fan of Tua that I am, I hope he retires before it is too late. I still think he was the best Bama QB of my lifetime.

It is likely most of the Miami staff is on vacation and he cannot even go through phase 3 or 4 at the facility. A lot of these employees and players are done for a few weeks as soon as the season is over. And what is the point of the medical staff and coaches getting back to the Dolphin facility within a week or two of the season ending to evaluate if Tua can get to phase 5. There is no rush so why force employees to rush back to the facility to get Tua cleared for a pro bowl that he wasn't going to play in anyways???
