It’s also apples and oranges. Kiffin was the youngest head coach in nfl history at the time and young enough to be freshwater. Bobby got his arse kicked chasing booty on Dickson.
And Saban has the discipline to reel any coach in. Jimbo’s crew includes DJ durkin, addazio, Craig (wr coach), tommie Robinson and holy hell he even hired Bradley Peveto.
Maybe he changed but nothing edgy about suggesting it’s a great hire. It’s a spectacular gamble at best and maybe it’ll work.

Kiffin and Petrino were in exceptionally different situations when hired. You know this though.

Lamar is not your everyday quarterback. Guy is an absolute freak and still makes nfl players look slow.

He is old and most players didn’t like him.
