And it won't make any difference. A&M has always had money. Back in the 80's A&M was throwing bags of cash at players and still couldn't get them to come. They would have let Eric Dickerson name his price. It's just always been a struggle to get a kid to commit or stay in College Station TX.

Might want to check your facts there.

1. A&M didn’t always have money. There wasn’t even a large enough alumni base for a long while.

2. But then during the SWC days, A&M got a lot of talent on campus when everyone was playing that game in the 80s

You ever heard of Jackie? He was able to land elite players. He had the number one class one year.

You guys are CLUELESS. He is the best AD in the SEC. You will all learn in a few years as your ADs lack innovative vision and are not antipating the major changes coming....

This is a business. Sports based ADs are a dying breed.

Get a clue.

I thought A&M was a small military school like the Citadel until the 1970s.

Knoxville area car dealerships that use to give staffers cars to drive are switching to giving players cars to drive now instead of staffers. The pie is only so big and you have to take care of non revenue sports now.

Oh you “thought” that? No, you knew it because it’s the same excuse used by every single Aggie to explain why you’ve been shite for your entire history except 85-95, when renowned cheater Jackie Sherrill was paying players. Your problem is that everyone can do that now, but you’re still TAMU.
