Predicting this ends with UF shanking a last second fg.

thats what i was thinking...Tebow basically got bailed out on the next play for making a pass to his center

They need to make that penalty a loss of down too. If a QB can just toss it to a lineman while getting sacked every time and just lose five but save the down, then its pointless
Good point Bob

man, i wish that Tebow would rupture every organ in his body, break every bone, and tear every ligament.
You are tied to Ole freakin' Miss. Stop acting like that's something.

He really did. If he gets sacked they lose 10 yards and the down. By passing it they gained 5 yards and got the down back and that changes the whole complexion of the drive at that point.

ESPN.com didn't waste any time taking down Tebows pic from the home page along with its title of "Leader of the Pack?"

Sounds like Ole Miss is the type of team that will play up and down to their competition this year. That can make a very dangerous opponent if overlooked.

so, i pulled this from the NCAA rule book:
Turns out that Tebow was a genius on that play.

Illegal Touching
ARTICLE 11. No originally ineligible player while inbounds shall intentionally
touch a legal forward pass until it has touched an opponent or an official (A.R.
5-2-3-I and A.R. 7-3-11-I-III).
PENALTY—Five yards from the previous spot [S16].
