I can understand hating Ole Miss for being pretentious (and it definitely can be, in some cases) but there's just no way to hate the grove. It's beautiful, the girls are incredible, the food is amazing, and the people are extremely generous.

I agree. I have never been turned down food or drink by anybody. I have also been offered food and drink by complete strangers. They may be pretentious, but they are usually really nice people.

It's amazing if you've never been down to Baton Rouge.

Not as good as LSU's, but it can be really damn good. Usually, deep fried. Sometimes storebought, but you get that everywhere.
We're not even trying to say that Ole Miss tailgaiting is better than LSU tailgating. We're just saying that it is damn good.

Since I'm going to have a tent next year, the food will be legit. I know how it's suppose to be done, and I won't settle for anything less. Party platters my arse...boudin balls ftw.

You are going to love our tent!
Deep fried everything.
We'll also have bacon. That's how we roll.

The grove is nice, its unique in college football. But its nothing more than the Joneses competing with each other weeek after week. Each person trying to one up and out do the other. thats fine if thats what you want. But give me the down home full blast wide open 48 hours of partying on LSU's campus anyday.

We always make some ridiculously bad arse guacamole, but for the really big games, we'll fry up some mini crab cakes for the game, and those are always delicious. They'll certainly be there for the LSU game.
