Guess you don't know what neck of the woods that Billy Walters(Louisville-Ky), Billy Baxter(Augusta-Ga,)etc..come from?

Or which side of the Mississippi River and/or Coast that Spiros, Skip, Henry, and their Oddsmakers like Chris, are largely from?

Despite their fair judgements, they do tend to exhibit some biases at times.

Sure, many LV Oddsmakers and Cappers grow fond of USC Football and UCLA Hoops, but it is mostly the Weekend Warriors from Cali and the Left Coast that their numbers are built for and/or driven by, not necessarily by the creme de la creme.

P.S. USC does have the best D in the land, and would be unbeaten if they didn't have their DL get stood straight-up at the LOS, and driven off the ball at Oregon St. The Trojans were minus Maualuga & Matthews was Light-Heavyweighted around all night long.

As much as NC material as anyone else

NC material doesn't put themselves into a position of having to have someone else lose just yet.

Now, this scenario may go into play, THEN you may have an argument, but until then, not so much. Even then, due to strength of schedule, I think 1 loss Fla and 1 loss OK or TT would stay ahead. No doubt you have a great D, but so do we, and we've played a little bit harder schedule than you, even with some of the teams in a down year this year in the SEC. I think our D is equal to your D if playing in your conference. Florida's too. Perhaps S.C. Just my opinion, fwiw.

That's almost right. They blew us off the ball in the first half, but in the 2nd half SC's D dominated the Beavs, and OSU won the game off a short TD drive after an INT. You really couldn't pin that loss on the defense, it was down to the offense putting them in bad situations and field position.

It was definitely a team effort by USC, but the Game MVP Runner-Up after Jacquizz Rodgers, had to be Joe McKnight.

Yes, McKnight is very talented, but he has not shown good discipline with the football.

He's a little too generous with it at times.

Southern Cal has the best talent in the nation. Granted, the rest of the elite powerhouses in college football aren't far behind (but they are still behind talent-wise). The disadvantage Southern Cal has is that they don't get battle-tested because they play in a conference that has a weak talent level in comparison to the SEC, ACC, Big 12, and Big 10. But they did smash Ohio State this year, and they have shown that they show up to play in bowl games (I mean come on, they have to hear about how the Pac-10 is like the Big East all year long, every year, so of course they have a chip on their shoulder and have something to prove). Southern Cal is a dangerous team, and I think they would put up a hell of a good fight against any SEC Champion.

That's asking for a lot. Way too many dominoes have to fall.

Their D is sick. They're giving up under 7 pts a game and aside from the Oreg St game they've only allowed 3 or 4 TDs...and one was when the drive started at the 15 after a turnover. I don't care who you are playing. That's impressive.

Not true, USC is very much battle tested. We get each PAC-10's team best shot with only few exceptions. These kids on other PAC-10 teams are tired of hearing about USC all the time, they play their best vs. USC. One reason why we struggle much more in conference than we do ooc.
