I never saw TN fans pack Lindsey Nelson when they sucked. Very loyal

In all fairness, they most likely didn’t know they had a baseball team….

Congrats on the national championship

I stand corrected. We was at home when we swept LSU in 2021 and sent Marinara into retirement. But one thing I am sure is that we have owned LSU in baseball last 6 games, beat your arse last time our men’s BB teams matched up, and whooped that arse in DV. Last 8 times UT has faced an LSU team we are 8-0. We will sweep that arse this year in your shite Box and extend our dominance over you in baseball since Vitello has arrived. You can call Vitello daddy.

They do? They were actually swept last time they played in Louisiana

Nope. Tennesse was swept by LSU in 2018, the last time they played LSU in Baton Rouge

I have seen LSU fans pack Lindsey Nelson. Does that count?

Non-revenue past time. Not really a college sport.

Yes you are correct, and I already corrected myself in an earlier post.
Not only is that the last time they played in BR, but that’s also the last time LSU beat UT in baseball which so happened to be Vitello 1st year.
Since then UT baseball is 6-0 against LSU. We swept you in Knoxville in regular season, then swept you in Super Regionals, and then beat you in SEC tournament. I’m not sure if we will sweep you this year in the outdated shite Box, but I do expect us to win the series.

Only to watch your teams get swept in the Regular season and Super Regionals.

You realize college baseball was played prior to 2021 right?

So that’s a record, right. 6 games in baseball. Amazing!

Sure do. I also understand the history prior to Tony Vitello showing up. Now that Vitello is on the Hill, don’t expect LSU to be the best baseball school anymore. Anything you done prior to 2018 doesn’t help you next year or in the future. UT is building a brand new stadium and catching up to the top teams of the SEC facilities wise. Vitello took over a team that won 7 SEC games the year prior. Since 2018 Vitello has won 191 games, won the SEC East twice, Won SEC Tournament and SEC regular season, 1 trip to Omaha in 4 years while owning a .713 win %. Yes he’s been at UT for 5 years but 2020 was canceled due to Covid after starting 15-2. For better or worse Vitello. And this year our baseball team will be just as good as last year. I just hope they have learned from their mistakes and don’t waste this years talent.

No not yet. I was simply stating that Vitello owns LSU now. Get used to it because Vitello isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

Signing the #1 recruiting class and #1 transfer class sure does, though

Actually, they aren’t building a new stadium

You replace your entire starting lineup. I wouldn’t count on it. Pitching will be great. The rest of your team is a mystery

And yet UT will still be ranked ahead of LSU when the 1st polls come out and still beat you when they play. Since Vitello has taken over LSU has had higher ranked classes than UT all but 1 year, but yet you still haven’t found a way to beat UT since 2018.
Recruiting rankings:(Perfect Game)
2022- #1LSU, #13UT
2021- #5UT, #7 LSU
2020- #2 LSU, #6 UT
2019- #8LSU, #9 UT
2018- #3LSU, #6 UT( Vitello 1st year)
Future looks good too.
2023- #10LSU, #15 UT
2024- #1 UT, #2LSU
2025- #5 UT, #8LSU
What these rankings tell me is that Vitello beats LSU arse with “lesser talent”.

Yeah, probably one of the reasons Mainieri retired

Basically a new stadium. Complete overhaul of Lindsey Nelson has already been approved. $60 million has been set aside and plans have already been drawn up. Seats have already been sold for the upgrades.
