I don't root against my team but holy hell was I apathetic to tonight. This loss is likely a positive for the program just because we can hit the reset button on leadership.

I told people two weeks ago there was no doubt in my mind the first game of the SECT would be the last game of our season.

Are you a tard? Worth the risk of getting paid millions to just bring a program to NIT appearances and maybe a few dances? You really think that's a huge risk?

Probably. But if he wins at Auburn he could also punch his ticket about anywhere.

Sure, but what coach has ever won at Auburn?

There was the baseball attrition of a couple weeks ago that seems to have died down, Barbee's been fired, we no longer dominate Swimming & Diving, can't beat Bama in gymnastics, WBB is doing okay, Equestrian is top 5, and Gus is kicking arse but overall Auburn athletics isn't setting the world in fire

We're coming a long way since the shitstorm that our athletics was in in 2012.

Softball is resurgent and has one of the best coaches in the nation. Football has risen like a phoenix, and baseball is improving. Basketball hopefully can make a good hire so we can have something to pull for again.

We never, ever beat Bama in gymnastics, I wouldn't put that on JJ.

That team is improving though as is baseball since those players got processed.

There's only one way to go from 2012.

Cliff Ellis did pretty decent. And now is going into March Madness again while Auburn sits at home and twiddles our thumbs.

The second coming of Cliff Ellis? Kidding, our dumpster fire is more inexcusable. Our basketball fans are clueless.

Promise I did not see that first. He was at South Alabama while I was there.

Anthony Grant may skid by based on actually having a decent season at Alabama, but I'm pretty confident in saying he's going to meet the same fate as Barbee eventually.

Our basketball fans are actually pretty intelligent. It's our football fans that pay attention for the last half of SEC play that are morons.

Some of you sound like huge pussies. This is a million dollar business. It ain't for the faint of heart. You get paid shitloads to win and if you don't, you're fricking gone. This ain't little middle class jobs.

Yeah, he handles quite a bit of the HC responsibilities currently and is transitioning in the more responsibility each year, which is great for Duke because coach K isn't going to coach forever.

Tony Barbee finishes his Auburn career 49-75 (.395) with a conference record of 18-50 (.265) and a solid 0-4 record in the SEC Tournament.

Great job, coach.
