Personally witnessed both of these:
1. Was playing a gig in Starkville at one of those big bars down town. Dude comes up to the stage says he’s from Indianola and we all say where we’re from. He then proceeds to call the favorite son of Indianola BB King the N word. We quit talking to him at that point.
2. Was playing Ajax on the square stepped out for a cig. Saw this group of marauding state hooligans (white) walking the square starting shite. This black kid in an Ole Miss shirt walks up and this dude wearing a Cotton District shirt straight sucker punches the kid and knocks him down. They ran off hunting someone else after that.
