It took half a season to get right, but Cooper eventually showed why, when healthy, he's the best receiver in the SEC. Despite his team's struggles, Cooper caught 15 passes for 299 yards and a touchdown against Auburn and Oklahoma.

Oh man, those defenses

Well, based on ESPN, FSU is by far and away the most talented team on the planet. Should destroy everyone.

Make up 11% of the best players in the country.

Lol....Do you think Cooper is a good football player or are you one of those fans who think that every Alabama player is overrated?

Off the top of my head I can't think of anyone better. I'm sure there are a couple that can contend though

That would be impressive against teams with good defenses.

Yes...Treadwell can. This is going to be a very exciting season. So meany beast on so many teams....SO EXCITED. If Coker is advertised he'll get Cooper the ball because he's the best route runner in CFB. Coker just has to hit his targets.

Coopers the best. Treadwell could contend. So could Mitchell is he could stay healthy. Probably a couple others as well.

You guys are so funny. You act like Cooper his freshman year didn't have a great season against TOP competition. SO GFY. KINDLY THOUGH.

Damn I refuse to believe Amari Cooper is the best WR in the SEC. I remember in 2010 we had AJ Green, Alshon, Julio, and Randall Cobb.

Yeah, it is hard to really think about him as "elite". He is very good, very fast, but I just haven't seen the OMIGOD! type of catch from him, let alone several like the ones you mentioned.

Then again, it does seem to be a bit of quiet period in SEC WR corps. He isn't as athletically gifted as some others, but if a catch simply has to be made, especially in traffic, I would choose Michael Bennett as much as any other. The boy is criminally underrated.

You just haven't seen him enough. It's that easy. Why is he predicted to go even top 2-8 in the NFL draft according to several draft mocks? I mean I guess that means he may be able to catch and run pristine routes? Pretty sure he was the best route running WR as a freshman EVER. One more thing HE'S REALLY REALLY frickING GOOD at running. 4.3!

The only "advertising" going on about Coker's ability is from within y'all's fanbase.
