I've seen people making the case Penn State should have gotten in. The same Penn State team that got destroyed 49-10 by Michigan and gave up 42 points to Pitt. Does anyone think they deserve a playoff spot?

They beat Temple by one score and Minnesota by a FG. Yahoo!

True that. But some of the Tigah posters here are just as horrendous.

By this, do you mean first round bye for #1 and #2? and first round: #3 vs #6 and #4 vs #5?

1. Bama vs bye
2. Clemson vs bye
3 OSU vs 6 Oklahoma
4. Washington vs 5 PSU

Winning p5 automatically in, but not a higher seed like the NFL.

You really think that ruins the regular season?

LOL, I'm not even a Bama fan or Clemson fan yet I know that the best two teams in the nation will play for a title.

I think butt hurt people want 12 team playoffs hoping one of those teams they hate eventually loses or gets a key injury at QB etc. This is comical.

Until 7-5 Wisconsin or 6-6 UCLA gets in over an SEC team with one or two losses. Then we're back to bitching about how it's "broken."

Pitt scored 43 fricking points on Clemson in their loss. I have no idea why you are using Pitt as a measuring stick, but I guess Clemson should have been left out according to your shitty logic.

Not while each conference does scheduling and championships however they want.

Nope. That sec team had a defined way to get in the playoff before the season. And they failed to accomplish that

Clemson didn't get blown the frick out in a second loss.

They had that this year, too. It just didn't go down like some wanted, and here we are, listening to the same whining we'd be listening to then.

You'd think a playoff team could score a point

They absolutely did not have that this year. There was no way to tell your team what to do to guarantee a spot in the playoff

You'd think fans talking shite would have sniffed the playoff before.

It has to do with your mental state of mind wanting a 4 loss team in the playoffs.
