Norvell is a damn good coach. There’s a lot to be excited about.
Leach is a good coach that has a simple but efficient offense that has historically had trouble against SEC defenses, and he really has had trouble winning big games.
Kiffin has destroyed 2/3 of the schools he has been HC at, and 100% of the power 5 schools he’s coached. Good OC, but it remains to be seen how he’ll do on the big stage again.
Aranda is a smart guy, good coach, and he’s putting together a very nice staff.
Point is, your “best hires in CFB” both have very large question marks that come with them. They’re definitely fun hires, as they’re both characters, but there’s a reason literally everyone wanted to see kiffin and Leach in MS. Because no one is really scared of them.
