Yes, its not bama fault.
However, they have only played 1 quality opponent so far. Even though they play Texas A&M this week, so far their schedule has been a cake walk.
But it doesn't really matter. They win out, they go to the NC.

Mississippi State didn't deserve their ranking. Game was in Bryant Denny.
You beat a very good LSU team on the road in Death Valley. You were not the better team that night. But Champion caliber teams find a way to win.
Texas A&M has played many teams tough this year. They were a lot better then expected. Game also is in Bryant Denny.
Oh and LSU's last 5 weeks..
