Take it and be grateful...no need to cast judgment on the guy.

Whats with the "its a basketball game" shite?
Why do some supposed "sports fans" seem to take such pride in their myopia?

It's the south and football > basketball for the majority of the fans.

And I'm far from broke, and it really had nothing to do with UK fans traveling well and having money to pay. Its just silly to pay that much, because like I said, there were cheaper tickets to be had. And its a basketball game, if this UK fan wasn't such a dumbass he'd realize that 300 bucks is absurd.
in their defense, they have been irrelevant in their sport of choice for half a decade or so, so this is a big deal for them

Sure, but some act like they're cool for out and out laughing at basketball( i don't think its a surprise that its usually the fans of schools that suck at it).
Considering basketball is far and away the second most popular sport, that must mean that they only like or watch football.
Whats the point of even liking sports if you only follow one?

"Its a basektball game" means that, in my experience, $300 is unheard of. Its pretty rare for football too where higher ticket prices are much more common.

300 frickin dollars for a ticket? It better of been for ALL the Tourney games.

The OP must have been cheated....radio reports were saying $450 a ticket upper level.....saying UT vs. UK would go for $1000 a ticket....I was going to come down tonight and try to scalp tomorrow, but not now. I'll sit at home and watch on the 62"
