TD Ameritrade Park is like 3 times the size of the all-time record crowds at even the best SEC parks

Didn't realize it held over 45,000 people. Very impressive.

Why? Because he didn't mention South Carolina

More like there are three places in the SEC that have better atmospheres than the MS schools.

Got out there at 12:30 on Sunday and Monday. Got front row seats in the outfield. Totally worth the wait.
You meet a lot of cool people sitting in line for that long. I saw a good bit of LSU fans out there even though they weren't there. I can't imagine what it's like if they make it.
I told the person I was staying with that if OM and LSU had taken care of business that they would have been the first game of this years CWS. If that had happened it would have set attendance records and arrest made at a single baseball game. It would have been fricking nuts.

I've been to some pretty good Cards-Cubs games back when the Cubs were good at Busch and Wrigley, but CWS was definitely one of the best places I've been to. It is an amazing atmosphere. I'd recommend going if you have the chance.

Where does Ole Miss and MSU rank on your top atmospheres in the SEC list?

I don't think there's much separation between LSU, Arkansas, Ole Miss, State and Carolina.

State, I'm sure, is still very lively for big games.

LSU sells a lot more season tickets than anybody else, but I don't think The Box is head and shoulders above any of the others for a big SEC series.

There's a drop off after those top few, though.

LSU
Carolina
Arkansas
OM
MSU

My top 5. Arkansas and Carolina are about as dead even ascan be. I wouldnt be upset at all if an Arkansas fan listed Baum above Carolina in atmosphere. LSU is the clear cut #1 though and MSU and OM are fighting for 4th.

I pulled from (don't laugh) wiki and here you go:

Box record attendance: 12,300
Baum record attendance: 11,100
OU Swayze record attendance: 10,600
Carolina Stadium record Attendance: 8342

I think those numbers are all within the last 3 seasons.

State has had larger crowds in the past when they were doing really well.

Attendance doesn't always equal a rowdy atmosphere. I get where you're coming from though.

Exactly, and Ole Miss probably has the most rowdy atmosphere, or at least tied for first with anyone. I'm sure you've seen videos of our outfield environment. Can Carolina even have alcohol in the stadium?
