how do we end that?

You think Boom has kicked our boosters in line?
I mean the guy has learned under Saban.

I would hope so. We need to fork out more.

I only responded to your post because it was the most recent. A lot of great topics brought up, but I hope this doesn’t jus turn into an argument thread, we’ve had enough of those.

Every base has its problem fans yes, but I do respect South Carolina’s program. It’s actually in the best interest of both programs to be good, as that can only help SOS with a win ??

To be fair, have you ever read the list of violations and sanctions after their 81 title?

ETA and what has been alluded to: we love our football as much as the college football powers, we’ve just rarely put the money/resources into it. When we did, we got that Spurrier run and now it’s time to have another injection again.

Also, Clemson and their fans have responded to us beating them way better than we do when they beat us past and present.

Also, the independent thing. Won the ACC football title in 1969, win the regular season title in basketball in 1970, tournament title in 71, were independent by the 71-72 season.

No i don't believe that at all.
Strictly because if either of us go undefeated in a season we will be in the playoff.

Id prefer you to not be good because we generally compete for recruits and I'd prefer to get those.

My grandfather, who was a big Carolina fan, used to claim it was because the politicians in Columbia interfered to much. He was a notorious story teller however so that may not be true

He spoke the truth on that matter..

But yea, behind the stadium down shop/bluff road looks rough. Immediately around the stadium in the last 2-3 years though has been completely revamped.

To be fair, I haven't driven down Bluff Rd in right at two years, and it was really looking up then.
The only good thing about Shop Rd was Doc's, so hopefully that's still there.

You need to go to Bernie's on Bluff. Some of the best fried chicken you will ever eat.

Bernie's has a great following, nut every time I've been I was disappointed. It's like they overcook it on purpose.

Them catfish nuggets at Doc's though.

Palmetto Pig has the best fried chicken. Doc's is decent, but I'm used to Hemingway BBQ so nothing in Cola is like it is in Williamsburg County.

You need to go to Jackie Hite's in Leesville for some damn good bbq. Shealy's is good, too.

Hite's has some straight soul food on the buffet. Those Yankees from Mizzou don't even know.

ETA: Damn...Scott's looks like it would be full of soul food. Where is that? Gotta be the central SC area or near it with the 803 area code.
