Is this your first time seeing a batter in baseball?

Nope. Saw several of our batters win a national championship last season.

If you hit a ball so hard that your teammates wave goodbye to it on contact, then you can stand there and watch it fly for as long as you want. Low key love the catcher getting mad, too. Love when new school and old school clash. (BFG: 8.7)

Also he lost his mother in the offseason and missed the friday and Saturday game to go to her funeral. He can pimp the frick out of that ball all he wants.

it is a sweet stroke, no doubt - his hips are a bit behind where Griffey Jr's hips would be at contact though

he's 6'3, 195'ish, see he's hitting .400 - nice

I feel bad for him that he lost his mother, but that doesn't excuse bad behavior. I agree with the catcher that he needs to run the bases and not be a poser.

Furthermore, this is what all bat flippers need more of.

Yep. Most of the players today would if they played 15 years ago. Acuna for the barves is the worst.

That’s always made me laugh. I talked a lot of shite (surprising, I know). Would gladly take my free base next at bat the few times it occurred.

The catcher overreacted. TJ barely stood there for a second or two and then started walking to a jog. Catcher was just pissy because we hit yet another nuke on them.

Don't like it...then don't serve up a fricking grapefruit.
