How on earth did you come to that conclusion?

Youre right he didn't start against Hawaii, but it sure sounded like he earned the B/U spot over JB.

Until we see Cam do what Tebow did in 2007 (3286 passing & 32 TD's combined with 900 yards of rushing and 22 TD's), Heisman, AP Player of the Year, Davey O'Brien Award, Maxwell Award and NCAA QB of the Year I'm sticking with my choice.

By the way, Cam's running out of time. Tebow did this in his first year as a starter.

this is the most telling stat of this debate

Yes Tebow had ridiculous talent surrounding him, but he still threw the ball well...

He could hurt you more both ways, thats all

He has already rushed for more than Tebow, with many a game to spare. The awards, we'll see, but all of you gayturds sound butthurt he left Groinsville.

newton might be the best college player i have ever seen.

wait, he is the best college player i have ever seen. I am only 35, but i cannot remember anyone so electric.

But he seems to be a arrogant a-hole. That makes me sad.

Tebow: 2 national titles. 2 SEC titles. Loyal. Character.

Newton: 8 wins

One day someone is going to force Auburn to throw and Newton's weakness will show. He is just a big arse TE who lines up in the wildcat every play. Great for what Auburn does, but not for most offenses.

righty-o, that's who he plays for.

He has only started eight games, your previous Tebow comments are moot points.

Two national titles and a Heisman trump an empty trophy shelf at this point. Talk to me in a year and my answer might be different.

this guy is right..RIGHT NOW you have to say tebow..now before i get smashed..i know that cam is unbelieveable..i know this..but right now..cam hasnt won the heisman..cam hasnt won a national championship..let along 2..so right now..today..i have to go with tebow..but when this question is asked next year, when he comes back. it might be different.

ok you where alive during 2005 right?? Vince Young was the QB for texas then..people like to forget about things that happen once upon a time. Look at vince's junior year stats..then look at cams. they basically were the same player.

The question was not "who is better." The question was "who would you want on your team." I would rather have Tebow for 4 years representing my university well than a JUCO transfer at his 3rd different school with an arrest record.

Plus, Tebow's first year as a starter is much better statistically than Cam's first.

Id take Tebow. I mean look at his career. Ok cam is a very good player, How many games has he played in now? 8?So Tebow would be my man. Now ask me again next year if Cam comes back like a tebow.

If Cam keeps this up, he will outdo Tebow.

Don't listen to the haters. We just got mowed the frick down by Cam and I can see that he seems like a good kid. One mistake when you're 19 doesn't color your whole fricking life for me. People on here just don't like QBs that have a little swag...especially if they have a certain look about them.
