Alabama took a beating in much of the press and certainly on this board for paying him what at that time was regarded as an obscene amount of money.

LSU wasnt rehiring Saban when they had recently hired Miles. Im not angry at Saban. He tried the NFL and didn't like it.

I get it. I just think it's fascinating the incredible amount of alimony SEC schools paid during his tenure. Texas A&M paid $87.5M themselves. Auburn over $65M. LSU over $72M. Florida $46M. There's a quarter billion just from four schools.

Brando is a count. He knows Woodward, the architect of the "COMPLETE mismanagement", was already fired because of it.

Huh? Only one of those coaches won a NC, and 2 of the 3 are tied to LSU's downfall, possibly all 3 before it's done with.
I'm surprised Coach O isn't paid off already. His buyout wasn't that high.
