I'm no fan of Colin Cowherd but his comment yesterday is pretty heads on in regards to all these comments about the history of the series: "LSU is down this year, O.Miss is having the best season in its history, and Vegas ONLY ( his emphasis) has them as a 3 point favorite". I've seen every LSU/O.Miss game in TS, and more than a few in both Jackson & now Oxford, since 1961. My favorite play of all time is the one O.Miss executed to perfection when Eli tripped over his own offensive linema to end the game, billed at that time as the biggest game in O. Miss' history. My son called to say there were "old men crying on the shoulder of the roads throughout campus". I still have my "Archie Who" button & will be wearing it again Sat nite. By the way, my second most favorite play is the Bert Jones to Brad Davis pass with 4 seconds left to beat the then Rebs. I can still picture Johnnie Vaught screaming helplessly at the refs as LSU lined up for the game winning extra point. The hedges that used to surround TS were full of O.Miss helmets as most of the team were throwing them all over the endzone afterwards.

It will be interesting so see how riled up TS is Sat.
Being honest, TS has been a major embarrassment all year, so we will see.
It's going to be very crunk at the beginning for sure.

Agreed. We have had much success there except in 03 when Billy Bennett missed 3 FGs. However, to LSUs credit, they were a much stronger team at year end as witnessed by how they dominated us in the SECCG. That crew of RBs they had was much like what we have now.
