Actually, LSU didn't even have a football team before Saban came here. We had a stadium built about 80 years ago in anticipation of his coming. All hail Saban.

You see, the point to my statement is that of someone comments negatively in a bama fap thread, some of you cry like bitches on tgr help board yet shite on every thread started by other teams.

This is not a flame but I'm sure it will be seen as one.
LSU doesn't need to expand to 120k. Other stadiums have proven that 100k is the ideal size for a major program to succeed. You build too big and you create more seats obviously, but you also build yourself out of a great "noise bubble." Basically, you open it up too much and you actually lose the ability to maintain a high noise volume.
As an Alabama fan I know we can sustain 120k fans, but going higher would not make the stadium any louder. I'm happy with where we are. The stadium is symmetrical and looks fantastic.

One day 120k will happen and bama fans will stop traveling to br because of permanent hearing loss concerns

Logistically, most teams would need to start from scratch to get a stadium that big. We fans like to imagine that adding on is easy, but fire and safety codes are extremely strict for stadiums and that is the main reason you don't see programs continually upgrading.

But this is as it should be, at least in the division.. LSU is the favorite to get ATL invite for 6th time in 12 years. Congrats and all to Tide for a great bowl game but in the west, LSU is the team to catch. These blog posts (flames?) are simply a reflection of this. As a fan, I hope this continues.
