Williams Brice and Sanford are two of the most miserable places on the planet in august. Very little shade even late evening for the visitors sideline.

Good point.

Visitors side gets hammered by the sun. Home side is in the shade the whole time.

However, there is a waxing crescent moon that night...it's a sign

there is no crescent moon on the SC flag. it's a gorget. symbolic from the uniforms of our men at Fort Moultrie that fought to win this country's independence. while the folks in Texas were being subservient to Spain, France, Mexico, Costa Rica or whomever.

Hell a bunch of primitive savages riding around in loincloths while shooting arrows, kept them scared shitless until the US Army came to their rescue. But that's Texas for you. Someone is always having to come to their rescue.

Might be a lot of cramps, though.

To the "it's so hot in Texas Ermagherd ain't no thang to us" crowd...I DGAF if your starting 22 hails from Death Valley, CA. 98 degree weather equals about 130 on the turf. This isn't practice, these are live bullets. Both teams are going to struggle with cramps.

He may have derived it's placement from that gorget, but the crescent is an ancient masonic symbol, and that's why it's really on the flag.

That sounds 'bout right!

Going to be 98.

We may need to pack our jackets. We don't play well at temps under 100.

Yes, hot on both sides of the field.

BUT, If the Ags offense is clicking and we are able to run 75 to 80 or more offensive plays then the pendulum swings in the favor of A&M offense. We averaged around 75 offensive snaps per game last year.

Different offenses, different philosophies, so A&Ms pace of offense might cause a lot more cramps than normal. That would be the only reason I can think of why A&M might (MIGHT) have an advantage in the heat.
