I keep hearing this but the numbers never seem to bear this out. In the Augusta area I was told it was running rampant and hospitals were over run but when I had to take my mom to a hospital they said they had less than 10 ICU cases spread over 5 hospitals. Another person locally here in Tennessee said they couldn’t get admitted for a minor surgery because all the beds were full of Delta Covid folks. When I asked a nurse I know about it they laughed and said they had 1 Covid case in the hospital.

Looking at deaths by state from Covid? Cases are up but hospitalizations and deaths are almost statistically nil. Blue states will likely lockdown but expectations in blue states are just lower. People say believe the science seem to be the same folks that don’t believe in statics and risk assessment.
