Im not sure how they arent getting dinged more based on the past couple weeks, it made sense before that. Their run defense has been exposed. They do have some high end talent though, their OL has 2 first rounders on it
I do think TTU is legit. Lot of NFL players. Big question is if their QB can stay healthy through a playoff gauntlet when he has been in and out all regular season
The team computers really love though is Notre Dame, which is the #3 or #4 team in most models

With respect you’re taking the same analysis track that the selection committee does. To be clear, I’m not one who thinks Texas deserves one of the 12 spots. But no way Vandy or OU should be ranked ahead of them. We stomped OU (who had their full defense against us) and LSU took them to the wire last night because their offense is so terrible. Vandy and Pavia is a nice story but they aren’t better than Texas.
Sark is right, if we’d played somebody line Rice instead of Ohio State we’d have the same record as OU/Vandy and be ranked higher than them, likely right behind A&M (who I’m still not convinced we could beat on a neutral field this year).
