It's broke because it has degenerated into a cesspool of trolling/flaming, with everyone trying to make that awesome troll thread, or just blatant shite talking

Before this board, these threads were getting whacked left and right on the rant. Hence the creation of the SECr. A home for flaming, shite talking, and trashy threads. It is what it was always intended to be.

Those threads don't get whacked because they generate clicks and page views.

But neither A&M nor auburn are leading the board with trolling the corndogs. That honor would go to 2-6 Arkansas, who are so giddy over their two SEC wins this year that they are already making room for their first ever SEC Championship trophy.

Arkansas and Texas A&M have done the most shite talking yet they have the least to shite talk about anyway. It's so fricking comical.

Two things:

1. You can have real discussions on here if you want to. Few people want to. I actually do it a lot.

2. The mental sparing that has become the Rant Game is highly entertaining onto itself. There is only so many times a bunch of people who never played football call talk about a formations, or we can rehash some part of civil war history. Sometimes sports discussion is overrated, that is why sports radio is crap. Sports is meant to be the news icing that goes on the current events cake.

Maybe I'm just over-nostalgic, but once upon a time valuable sports discussion was had on this board.

When? 2006?

Fair enough, most of the posters here seriously need to be more creative though.

We Aggies would characterize such a post as shitty.
