well i usually hear the best speeches in the fricking huddle trying to get pumped up before games. so, tebow must really blow at it.

You can be a great, fiery, and inspirational leader in the huddle and still not be a great public speaker.

The Anti Tebow musings are more interesting than the pro Tebow ESPN ravings.

You people are absolutely obsessed.

I'm actually not anti Tebow. I love LSU and hate Florida, but I have told my children many times what a great person and competitor the guy is. Just never have thought he was a great speaker.

Mere intertainment. Tebow is one of the best college football players of our time. Good player, good leader. I enjoy reading the anti Tebow meltdowns. Never said to discontinue them, do carry on.

Not really giving him a lot of shite. Just said that I don't think it makes sense. I've probably given him more praise than shite in this very thread.

What's funny is it's obviously a rip from varsity blues, but he gets it wrong. In the movie the evil coach "Kilmer" says 30 minutes for the rest of your lives. But after the whole coup de tat, the QB "Mox" says frick that I say we play the next 30 minutes for what it is, the next 30 minutes and we lay it all out on the line. Or something like that.

Lou Holtz has been using the "60 minutes to play, and a lifetime to think about it" quote for years. Not the same but similiar.
