They are the only ones who have been singled out bc all of a sudden the SEC decided to wake up and grow a pair. Every other player that got an injunction from their friendly neighborhood judge (aka Bediako, Pavia, Chambliss and others around the country) played and got paid. This isn’t about LSU or Lane Kiffin… He did exactly what he said he was going to do. the courts said these players could play but he would wait for the SEC’s ruling and then, as he said he would, he complied with the ruling. Kiffin did nothing wrong. But these kids have gotten totally screwed by the NCAA and now the SEC and they absolutely are going to sue and make money.

The players should sue Kiffin for lying to them.

I agree 100% that they deserve to play somewhere. But, selfishly, can we move past the lawsuits?

The players sued for their right to a fifth year of eligibility—and won. LSU kept two roster spots open but chose not to roster them. The SEC basically said, “No,” to the court’s injunction, threatening LSU with expulsion and putting the school in an impossible position.

Now the players could have a serious case against the SEC and NCAA. I think they win—and there could be $$$ involved.

What’s crazy is neither player was drafted. Both went to NFL camps hoping to make a roster. Zxavian Harris signed with the Saints but, according to testimony, wasn’t paid by the team. He never even practiced.

The SEC’s position effectively forced LSU to choose between obeying a court order and protecting its place in the conference. That’s the real fight.

The main issue I have with this is the fricking retarded decision to exclude the 2022 class from the 5/5 rule. And yes, I hope they sue the frick out and win vs the NCAA,

These SPECIFIC 2022 kids got fricked . The SEC should issue a blanket eligibility statement and let them go any where they want. Every schools should take one or two. Literally hurts NO ONE and saves the league millions in legal fees and settlements.

I hear you… But unfortunately, the SEC has made these two statements contradictory. The only way these kids get to play now is if they sue.

It's already happening. It's all over Tiger Rant and On3. The lawsuits are being prepared now.

How could they have included them? Teams had already "set their rosters" when the rule was announced.

You let the players transfer if the rosters are full.

Nice try. No, they did not. Drew Rosenhaus said exactly what LSU fans have been saying all along. Go watch or read his transcript from the Pat McAfee show. He literally said he Cannot blame Kiffin or LSU.

You, just like every dumb talking head, have no clue what was said to these players.

But you did hear the TE say that MULTIPLE SEC schools reached out to get him back!

It is shameful what Kiffin did to these players.
