As a freshman in 2019, Connor got one start against Arkansas where he looked super poised before tearing his ACL. He was an efficient 15 for 21 in the game.

Entering his freshman season in 2020, he was behind Shawn Robinson who was later benched for the freshman phenom in Connor Bazelak. Bazelak showed huge promise in his freshman year having huge games and looked poised and unphased in big moments. He did sputter in the last start of his freshman year.

Now going into his freshman year in 2021, he looks to build upon his freshman years at QB as he is regarded a top 5 returning QB in the league as only a freshman. Not often is a freshman this heralded as Ballsack is but Mizzou nation is expecting BIG BIG things out of the freshman starter.
