Not my team for one. Two, that is a ridiculous statement. To think he has the potential...sure. Currently...absurd.

Not really. I watch Mett and say "WOW, he just made that throw." Murray has never, ever, ever made me say that.

Keep your stats, I'll take Mett.

I don´t know where Dr went to school, but it wasn´t Georgia.

However he just summed it up now, and I did, two pages back. Mett could be better, could be. Until now, he has not proven it.

Damn, you´re thick headed. I get it, you´re a true fan and all, but damn. So much fail in your blind allegiance. Kudos for your fandom, however.

What's your explanation for Mett's play in the Florida and Texas A&M games? He made throws that made me say "The backup better get ready".

I live in Atlanta...luckily I have satellite radio, aka I don't have to listen to the retards on the local sports radio stations.

UGA fans are the 2nd most obnoxious fan base I have been around (lived in Mobile, AL...Orlando, FL...Starkville, MS...Biloxi, MS)

The most obnoxious was UF, but they at least had relevance in the national title discussion. UGA fans expect national titles every year and they haven't been in that convo at the end of the year until right now. And currently they are there solely because of a fortunate schedule and a conference that has had great success recently. Otherwise, they got no business being there.

If they beat bama, they find themselves in the title game...I don't think they will beat them, but they should. Bama is succeptible to a decent passing attack. Has been since Saban got there...last year being the lone exception because they had the best defense I had seen in most of my life. But I can't trust Richt to come up with a gameplan or Bobo to call the right plays at the right times. But if either of those happens, UGA won't execute them...just like they didn't in last years SECCG.

If all three of those things happen, they will probably lose the NCG though and then the whole SEC will hate you because they have this stupid pride about thinking the NC's makes us look stronger. Anyways, good luck next Saturday against the gumps, but I got little to no faith that you will win.

ps...I will be pulling for Auburn so we can truly find out who is better Mett or Murray.

It obviously took time for Mett to adjust to SEC play. Pretty simple. He hasn't turned back since Bama.

The 2nd and 3rd rotations of offensive line after losing our starting left tackle, right guard, and right tackle were not effective. When they were, the WR's couldn't hold the ball that hit them in the hands.

And the sun was in his eyes.

I agree, the game has ´slowed down´for him, these last few games.

He should be strong next year. Should.

So here is his chance to get that signature win against a top 5 team. I'm rooting for the bulldogs myself. I'd love to see the SEC get another title but with a different team. That would shut up the people who say the SEC is only 3 teams deep.

I personally don't care who is better, Mettenberger or Murray. Each is good in their own right.

I do not recall, perhaps they will put them up on the TV screen when he is playing in the SECCG. I think y'all have a basketball game that evening, so I will fill you in on the game if you ask nice...

Someone listed in an earlier discussion the games Murray has been defeated in by teams ranked in the top 25 at the seasons end. As a result, I decided to look up the stats of those games. I think you will find that Murray was not the cost of many of those games.

2010

Stats 2012 games against ranked teams

SC 11-31-109 yards 0 tds 1 int

FL 12-24-150 yards 1 td 3 ints

Murray is the most efficient QB in the nation. But his production is way down against ranked teams. Overall, he is completing 66% of his passes with 28 tds and 7 ints. He is averaging 270 yards per game passing.

Against ranked teams he is averaging 130 yards per game and is completing 41% of his passes.

This year, I think it is fair to say he has struggled against ranked teams. Overall, his record against ranked teams is 1-10. His defense has to take at least some of the blame for that record.

Oh no thanks. I'm not too interested in that game. Y'all might keep it close for a quarter.

His record against teams that finished the year ranked is 1-10.

True dat. He may have beaten some team that was ranked at the time he played them.
