All the ones listed are nice but IMO I'd put LSU and Penn State at the top followed closely by Ole Miss, then Auburn and Bama.
i love smoking a whole pig for when we play Arkansas, fried gator tail for Florida, rotating cajun concoctions for LSU...
but we go traditional smoked butts, for other teams. I don't want a jizz jar for A&M, and no I will not eat my boogers when we play Auburn--we eat chicken.

I would rank
1. LSu- it's hard to top Br on a big SEC game day or a good OOC game like Norte dame.
2. ole miss-grove , hot women young and old the smell of crown
3. UGa- bars alone in Athens puts in the top 3
4. bama- the quad, the strip .. Always a good time in ttown
5. . USC-Columbia does it right .

6. Wisconsin -believe it or not Madison throws it down been a few times .
7. Ohio state -good tailgate scene the 3 times I have been . Big crowds , good bars . For the Midwest the ladies Weren't bad
8. auburn - their scene has gotten better especially with the new tailgate setups . Like someone said auburn's in game atmosphere might be top 2 in the SEC . Plus sky bar is a legendary bar in the SEC
Doesn't count bc it's a neutral site but I would rank Texas/OU weekend in the top 4 maybe top 3. If you haven't been go its worth it .

Auburn has one of the nations most intense atmospheres during a big game. however the tailgating is not in the top half of the SEC,. I'd put Bama, UGA, LSU, and Florida above them. If you are in the wrong part of town, you're going to smell cow shite. they left that part out of the article.

Depending on where you are tailgating ie around Nicholson drive by the golf course and if the wind is blowing out of the SW you could smell cow shite at lsu

AU's tailgating went down a couple years ago when they put up the concrete barriers all over campus to only allow the older, calmer crowd that spent all weekend chilling...not the drunkards that came i n game day and raised hell. That appears to have changed and allows Wire Road to get as completely fricked up as it used to be. There's gonna be so much glorious debauchery as there used to be this year, and it's awesome.

Yeah, I mean the top 4 SEC teams are all interchangeable one game to the next IMO.
