It definitely did not. From 1995-2001, Tennessee's average finish was #8 in the country. Compare that to 2002-2008 where their average finish was #24.

Phillip Fulmer sat on his arse and tried to ride his laurels. When he did get fired, Mike Hamilton made a series of disastrous hires. The university then made some disastrous hires at athletic director after they fired Mike Hamilton.

Checks out. I saw LSU win 2 titles when i was a student. Then i was right here for 2019. I’ve seen more baseball titles than i can remember, and I’ve even seen us get to a final 4. You know you can’t look me in the eye and act like we’re the same. Because we’re not. And you know it. And it kills you and all of your alters. Because 1998 was almost 27 years ago. And that 2022 game you tell you and your cousin’s children-nephews about was irrelevant as frick because we still got to Atlanta and you, well…didn’t. And it’s never happening again.
I have seen and lived the dream. So have bama, uga, UF fans. Basically all the fans that live rent free inside that mashed potato box you call a brain. Even auburn fans and fans of the real UT know what it feels like to be a winner. You are a fat, sad, lonely, useless racist piece of shite and no one will ever give a frick about Tennessee football except when it’s time to make jokes. So im afraid the joke is you.
