The whole problem is that the Gus offense relies much too heavily on having a Cam or Marshall type QB to run it. Those QB types are very, very rare. The offense is basically a souped up high school spread offense that must rely on smoke and mirrors more heavily than normal when a Cam type QB is not there. Whereas the big boys rely on smash mouth good old fashioned slobber knocking style, where a simple steady game manager type QB will still win for you.

This is why I'm excited for the Ags this year. We finally feel like a real SEC team.
