Y'all have been in the news for financial troubles for years now... At one point your governor had to threaten a failure to address it would result in an even worse product (or no product at all) on the field. Your apparent ignorance of LSUs financial woes has me concerned about your priorities. I'll pray for your program and for you to reweight what you think deserves your attention, poor.

Not quite CFP championship just yet. But, certainly believing SEC CG. However, the true focus was on an early build up to Game of the Century Pt III hosted in BR. It is also the typical time that the anti-LSU coaching staff segment all rally in support of whatever eccentric coach is leading the Team and all of said coach's quirks become enduring and past slip ups forgiven. They begin to brag about how their, now, sarcastically described "shrimp boat CPT" HC managed to beat all of those teams.

This is simply untrue. They are out in full force. All of the love for coaches and optimism for the season is drained overnight. It turns vitriol with criticism of every facet of the team and fan in fighting. The only common ground some of them find is that the refs are to blame. But, they hardly go into hiding.

nope, see above, they never left. But, after 2-3 days they all do seem to be back on the same page with whatever the consensus rationalization for the loss will be and what the way ahead will provide. For that, they do show some signs of resiliency.

typically, yes, their usual OCT slate rebuilds hope for the post-season and the end of the avoidance of making L8U is very tangible. However, the UGA addition to the schedule will either exacerbate that shift of emotion should they beat UGA or shift to a "frick everything else and go all in on Bama" sentiment. That said, while I disagree it is the "usual", if both L8U and a loss to UGA transpire, I think the team and fan base collapse violently like a dying star.
