People have been seeing the boogeyman since man first stood on his hind legs and said "Damn, the view from up here is spectacular...my back hurts....". In times of want man will cast about for answers...when there is no clear cut answer man will conjur up all sorts of shite, religion being the chief shite among these but all sorts of shite will take root in the mind of man when he can't find a direct answer to the questions he is faced with. This is why so many folks on the right see a boogeyman in the media and in globalism...because those on the right have seen a platonic shift in their position, or perceived position, in the world and they do not like what they see....minorities making head way meaning more competition, other countries doing the same meaning the same...it is not quite as secure a world for conservatives as it once was...and since conservatives won't acknowledge their role in this there has to be another answer...enter the boogeyman.

What was conservative's role in this? RONALD REAGAN. Ronald Reagan convinced a sizeable portion of the United States that it was far more important to see to it that corporations were more important than people. Unions had to be done away with and jobs outsourced to the lowest bidder....great for corporate America, and conservatives still claim (watch) that it is great for American consumers because they can but a T shirt at Wal-Mart for $5 instead of $6.50. Taxes had to be cut on the wealthy so they could have more cash on hand to invest in third world countries and bolster their bottom line. Everyone forgot that Americans had to have jobs that paid a living wage....as long as taxes for the rich were low and we could buy $5 T-Shirts who cared if US textile workers were out of work??? Democrats tried to buck this trend and were soundly defeated....and then decided they would simply mirror what the GOP was doing, after all the leaders were wealthy also so their bottom lines were improved and most Americans liked the idea of buying a Toyota...those of us in the labor movement saw it coming and happening and knew what the result was going to be but Americans were too damn drunk with credit and cheap shite to give a tinkers damn....but more and more of us started to see that something was amiss....we got further in debt, it took 2 incomes to make a living, and here we are.

The only conspiracy we have been victim to is the same conspiracy man has always been a victim to...the need for wealth and capital to increase both and maintain all of the power in the world. That was fine with conservatives as long as it was only those on the margins who were at the mercy of that insatiable need for wealth to gather more wealth....but now y'all find yourselves in the same boat as Chinese textile workers....and it can't possibly be that your dream of some day joining the ranks of capital...which is possible in the United States with some hard work and luck...was not founded in reality based on your circumstances so there has to be another answer...one handed to you by the very people who have caused your concerns in the first place...and international cabal of leftists bent on subjugating you....when in reality you have been subjugated to the whims of capital since the day you leapt out of your Mama's crotch as have all men before you and all men will be after you....the only conspiracy which is real is the one that drives capital to look out for its interests only and to hell with anything else.
