I'm sure Bama can afford new headsets. Compared to what they paid the refs, these things are cheap.

You know...hmmmm....Coach Saban was about ten yards onto the field when he did this. I am just saying...hmmmm....after further review, no penalty....LOL.

Saban is the man but i think he lied when he said LSU was just another game. He really wanted to beat them.. i dont think i've ever seen him that emotional during a game.

Yeah he was pissed. Don't blame him, no excuse for breaking the huddle with 12 guys.

We just give his headset to the other team the next week. That is why Tennessee's headsets didn't work

i like seein mile get upset and yelling on the sidelines' and i wouldnt mind if he did it more

but at some point you cross the line from looking extremely upset to looking like an arse.

is that when bama had 12 men on the field? what's funny is, people make fun of Les when he called a timeout after the turnover against UT in 05. Saban tried to call a timeout on that play, yet the rules state you can't. it just goes to show you even good coaches get so caught up in the moment they make mistakes.

i guess if he threw his headset, LSU would have had a better chance of winning

different strokes for different folks, i think believe that a coach doesnt want to win badly because he doesnt throw a tantrum on the sideline is a farce

just diffeent ways of expressing themselves...Miles and Saban have different personalities and i expect to see that manifest itself

Agree, we had 5 years of shula clapping after mistakes. People say that players don't respond well to anger, and that may be true, but I think the competitive spirit that is shown in that emotion makes players respect you in the long run.

The discussion on the TideFans board was over whether it was good to have a coach with "fire", or if 'bama couches should act like they'd been there before.

"The Bear would have never thrown a fit like that."

I liked it. Showed he had enough BS and sloppy play. They are kids sometomes best to just scare them.

Who cares, he was mad and he through his headset down. Big deal, not like he choked a player or something.
