Just because Alabama finishes #1 in recruiting and Georgia finishes #5 doesn't necessarily mean Alabama got the better players. It's just a ratings system. Coaches evaluate and go after the players they want. Alabama was #1 in recruiting in 2008 after a 7-6 season, fwiw.
