The SEC is the best conference because of how we obsess over the middle of the pack teams.

Do you think teams like Syracuse, Purdue, Houston, etc. are even discussed in their respective conference message boards?
We talk about 7 and 8 win teams here more than the 10+ win teams.

Because it’s a cultural event for us. We’re family because of our self-identification as Southerners. And that’s why we give each other shite all year no matter who it is.
Hence Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas not belonging here.
