Nothing grates on the nerves of our opponents fans more

Why? Because it reminds them of one undeniable fact, their players didn't want to play in the SEC because they're the kids that prayed the ball would never be hit in their direction, that the other team would just not show, that their opponents would be weaker, not that they'd be stronger

SEC commits know they're committing to a team that will have the hardest road to hoe and they're thrilled with the prospect of beating the best, at their best by being better

Players in the B10, B12, P12, and ACC all have that in common, they chose the 'easier' path and nothing drives that point home more than the SEC chant

Actually, Arkansas/Mizzou/Vandy/UK/USCe/OleMiss/MSU players just couldn't get scholarships to decent teams. But yeah, "SEC!" and all that too probably.

The insecurity it brings out is great

Think about it, players that have committed to Arkansas or Vanderbilt have done so knowing they're going to have to work much harder because they're going to be tested much harder than players in lesser conferences

It takes brass balls to commit to an SEC team, especially one that is struggling

Yeah I’m sure the players at Ohio state, penn state, Wisconsin , etc really wanted to go to miss state or Arkansas or mizzou or ole miss but they didn’t have the balls

I'm sure you and any other bottom feeder fan of a school that can't pull their own weight loves the SEC Chant...Living vicariously through the success of the few schools that are consistently top tiered is how you justify your sorry arse existence.

She couldn't get laid if she wasn't charging only $20? So does that mean she could get laid if she charged 20? I'm confused.

^^^^^ Welcome to the true identity of the "SEC" chant. Every Natty Bama gets, Arkansas hangs a banner: "WE PLAYED THEM!"

Not sure why you're having such a hard time understanding this but a kid going to Arkansas is going to have a much tougher schedule than one going to a school that plays in a softer conference

If you volunteer to go to Arkansas you're heading to the hardest school to play at and that says a lot about your character; and if you choose to go to ND (basically choosing to be a huge vagina and play a bunch of high school teams) it also says a lot about your character

Pretty much any team that’s decent across the country and notre dame would have the same record as Alabama with Alabama’s schedule this year

You should watch more football. Times have changed Ron burgundy Other teams can do things now

You're saying kids at Arkansas have better character than kids at ND?

That kid is an idiot if he turned down a ND over Arky...He we would be on a national broadcast every week to show is stuff and he would have the chance to get a degree from a school that he would have access to a huge network of alum that would help him in the workplace if football didn't work out..

You could make that dumb arse statement about any of the bottom feeders in any league.

I mean nobody can seriously question that a factor in going to a place like Clemson is that your risk of injury is lower and you get to show out against far inferior competition. You’re not risking as much. I’m not sure if that’s character or not, but it’s definitely something.
