Florida fans shouldn't want Georgia to win it for the same reason LSU fans shouldn't want Bama to win it

its just stupid

3. The other exception has to do with rivals. If you have a primary recruiting rival, you want them to lose every game and suck horribly because their loss is your gain

This is by far the only one that matters. And for UGA, we are in direct recruiting competition with Bama, Auburn, UF, UT, and SC. Which is why I don't ever pull for them in bowls. IDGAF about the SEC, I care about Georgia.

Wait, is this not how it is done in the Big 12?

Between Saban being a sanctimonious arse and the handful of Bama fans whose sole purpose in life seems to be to make everyone else want to bust a cap in their arse, its difficult, if not impossible to pull for Bama.

The LSU fans rooting for 'Bama in the NC confuse this.

I am rooting for Georgia to beat ND. Bama is not going to beat the Dawgs.

The SEC doing well IS good for Georgia. You should want the conference to do well, just not as well as your team. It is easier to recruit in the best conference.

I want aTm to do well (especially better than Texas) because I believe strengthening the SEC brand in Texas will be good for Missouri. although I can also see the benefit to Missouri to have teams from the three adjacent states (Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee) having down years, particularly when Mizzou is down.

So if Alabama wins, does that mean you don't exist?

We get about 99% of the good recruits out of the Southeast regardless because we're the shite.

I was talking about the SEC as a whole, not LSU.

We don't need any help at all to recruit here. Every good recruit in the southeast knows that their best option is to play for an SEC team, 6 NC's in a row or not.
