Talking to people from the College Station // Houston area about heat and humidity is, well, just kinda funny.

I just find it cute that you think a Texan is intimidated by heat and humidity. Or anything.

Just don't try any of that fake brisket bullshite you reflexively refer to as "Barbeque" when you pull up to tailgate

Don't call out beef when you KNOW that if your ancestors could have afforded beef they would have used it instead of pork. Be real bruh.

Are you seriously ignorant of the existence of Houston? You know, America's 4th largest city? It's every bit as humid. It's on a bay off of the Gulf of Mexico. You sound like a 16 year old with no knowledge of the world.

Very much looking forward to SC barbeque. I've heard that each area of the state has its own distinctive style.

I agree with the Cocks when it comes to barbecue.

Pork > Beef

If I had to choose either only pig or only cow for the rest of my life I'd go with pig. It's just better tasting. Plus it's much easier to cook correctly.

midlands area and low country use mustard based. Up around the NC/SC border you'll find a mixture of vinegar based or mustard based. in clemson they just use ketchup on hotdogs, but they're poor, so leave them be.

101 most humid cities

college station and gainesville are both 74.4% and ranked 58th/59th respectively.

Texas is actually more humid than south carolina.
