Texas struggled for a while a couple of weeks back with Rice or somebody like that before they finally pulled away a little. They lost to Ohio State the week before. Emotions factor in the college game in a big way. It can also work the other way. Tennessee could go out and walk the dog. I’m not saying anything controversial here. All I’m saying is this is a tough spot for Tennessee and if they don’t shake off last week then things could be tough on them.

He is surprisingly bad. I kind of expected him to have at least some moderate success at UAB but he has been awful so far.

I hear him in the morning every week on sports talk and he is just arrogant and really doesn’t know what he’s doing. There is just not much to like about the guy. They are surprisingly 2-1 with close wins over powerhouses Akron and Alabama St. Maybe he’s getting better.

I’m sure he either leaves on his own or gets fired at the end of the year. I think it’s pretty obvious that he doesn’t like it at UAB anyway.

Heupel's offenses basically ensure anyone thats at a severe talent deficiency or is poor on defense will get obliterated.

Anything can happen though but we should be able to run the ball for 200-300 yards and score 50.

Tennessee just has to play with some energy and focus and they will be fine. If they don’t then that’s when the dumb mistakes will start that could keep UAB hanging around.

Thanks for the concern! Methinks you're wasting a lot of time and bandwidth worrying about things that you don't really believe or care about.

Not really. Upsets happen in college football all the time. The circumstances surrounding the game this week kind of make it worth mentioning.

They’re gonna lose at MSU next week. Calling it now

Wrong! I attended the game in 2007, won by the Vols 33-21. No reason this one will be much different except probably more points for the winning team.

Bama didn’t lose before they played Ga State a few years ago but they played like total shite that day and made that game way closer than it needed to be. That’s the game Saban had the famous rant about them running through us like shite through a tin horn and we couldn’t stop them lol.

You must be kidding. Heupel won't be the chicken coach he was against UGA. He will run up the score. He always does against the likes of UAB.

The trap game for them will be the following week in Starkville.

Yeah, Texas isn't as good as Tennessee. We have the benefit of three weeks of game to judge by.

I don't consider that a devastating loss. It's more the kind of loss that pisses you off and motivates you.

Pretty sure UGA was not at a talent deficiency and we put up a lot of points on them.

They are not the little sisters of the poor either. They should have killed whoever that was by 70. They are far more talented. If the game of football was just about talent alone then upsets would never happen at all. Every team has to be prepared mentally every week or they risk slipping up and having a bad game or even losing to an inferior team.

Vols by 70....because they're trashy like that.

Come on...Heupel pulled the dick out of Kelly's arse in the 3rd quarter and made it a respectable 40-13.

We can't help that you were in the parking lot by halftime.
