I say do away with Mega conferences and go back to this with a playoff that includes each conference champion. Everyone else goes to bowls

Because nobody seems to want to increase the # of conferences.

I disagree this needed to happen there's 10 sec teams(texas and okie included), 5 acc teams(ND
included) and 5 big ten teams(usc included) not playing with the same level of intensity, money or resources as the bottom of the power 5(what used to be anyway) or any g5 school. A split needed to happen. At the start of every football season since the bcs you have 120ish teams competing for a D1 title. And well over half are eliminated before a down is played

It's sickening. I mean how much is enough money? The answer is it's never enough. I don't like the expansions. I liked the SEC just like it was with SCarolina and Arkansas. I tolerated the A&M and Mizzou additions (not that I don't like them but we really didn't need them athletically IMO). Now your adding OU and Texas. Soon the geography won't even be southeastern. And now in football we are going to lose games that we all like seeing every year because of the almighty dollar.
